Floral Friday

Ooops - sorry I'm so late everyone. I've been mowing the grass!
Butterflies and Bees:
I just can't get enough of them. Is there anything more satisfying in the garden than seeing happy butterflies busily flapping around the flowers.
And bees - - I just love bees. I plan to start some hives later this year and can't wait!! A few stings won't dissuade me. That first pot of honey will be so rewarding.

It would seem that this particular butterfly and bee are in Fabienne and Balthazar's garden!

Actually this daisy bush grew from a small cutting my dear friend Rosalie gave me. Fortunately when we moved there were so many seedlings in the pot plants we took with us that it will be easy to grow plenty more. What a splendid addition the yellow daisy is to the garden. Hardly ever out of flower and such a useful cut flower too.

Please share with us any fabulous florals you have. We would love to see them.

  1. Beautiful sunny daisies. Is there anything more cheerful? If you love bees have you read "The Secret Life of Bees"? It's one of my favourites I'm sure you would love it. Beautiful butterfly as well.

  4. Beautiful pictures. I am not game to have a hive. Our friend up the hill does and the fresh honey is delicious.
