Colourful Friday

I am really looking forward to participating in Colourful Friday's with Robyn.
The theme for today is the colours that remind us of Valentine's Day

* * *

I have never been one to celebrate Valentine's Day. I was married long before it had begun being celebrated in Australia. Nevertheless I take the challenge to brighten up the blog world with the colours that I associate with the day and the sentiment behind it.

Red and White are a given, of course, with the stunning red rose 'Oklahoma' being the almost perfect Valentine's rose.

  1. Beautiful roses, Bronwyn. Good to see them growing so well with all the rain. A bit different to the past years.

  11. I wish I knew the name of the cream rose it is utterly divine. It is a potted rose of my MIL and she has lost the label unfortunately. It has a slight perfume but it's the form, ruffled petals and creamy apricot colour I find irresistible. Oklahoma has a perfume to die for. So, so strong and heady even in bud, in sun, shade or rain. Amazing!,
